The Twits
We have been enjoying doing a book study with Mrs Pirie each Tuesday afternoon.
The book that has been a great hit was 'The Twits' by Roald Dahl. Here are some of
our illustrations of the said couple!

Our learning this week 5th October
We looked at timelines this week. We learned you only put main events on a timeline. We found out that AD means after Jesus was born and BC means 'before Christ'. Jesus was born on the 25th of December soon after the year 0. We put events in the Egyptian era in order. We learned hieroglyphs were invented around 5000 years ago!
In punctuation we learned to use exclamation marks to show surprise, anger, happiness, annoyance, sadness, upset or fear.
On our laptops we opened a Word document, changed the colour, size and font and added a picture. On the desktop we learned how to put our document into a folder.
This week we wrote diamante poems, they were great. Some were about opposites like day and night.
Here is the link to the diamante poem website:

Here is the 'Sausage Dog' group with their 'shaduf' from last week. Their photo got lost on the camera so we took another!
