Dear P3/4/5 and your parents,
Thank you so much for making my last day at school so special. I was really overwhelmed by the beautiful cards and gifts, that was so kind of you. Your messages in the special book you made are so lovely.
You have been a brilliant class to teach and I have enjoyed sharing all your successes.
See you soon,
From

We got there!

It is such a relief that we reached our destination: Oregon. Now we can set off and claim our free acre of land and make a new life in the West! We have travelled 2000 miles and encountered some very dangerous situations, now we hope that it was all worth it and our new life is wonderful.

 The Sanfords

The Hixons, with their baby, Rosie, who was born on the trail.

 Yipee!

 The Cookes

The Bennetts- without our little brother Max. Hopefully he will be feeling better soon and we can take his photo too.

Oh my, that was a long journey! We did so well! Don't we look exhausted?

Native American Headdress

We made a tribal headdress for a team challenge; here is the finished product, made by the Sanford family.  M models this in front of the tipi, what a super job!

Tag Rugby 25.02.13

We had an invigorating session of rugby today on the pitch. Here are some of the photos:

Our learning 23.02.12

We started our time unit this week. Look out for progression charts in your Learning Link book on Monday. This will tell you what your next step in learning time is.
We had a couple of different teachers in the class last week, it was nice to get some very positive feedback about the class from them, both saying what a lovely class you are!

Above  we have some Pioneer Cat art work; we have designed a new cover for the book, based on the original. They look fantastic, with more to follow.
We have another week on the trail - we hope to get to Oregon before winter but we have some tricky travel and fate cards to get through before that happens!
