So that's a week gone by already!
We have now finished our 'Planet Protectors' project and are ready to start our new one- 'The Wild West'. We now know our character names for the project and we have four families: The Sanfords, Hixons, Bennetts and Cookes. Over the next five weeks we will make a perilous journey across America to reach the West and our hope of a better life. The decisions we make will be very important, do you think we can make it in one piece. Our 'Scout' (trail leader) C'pn' Reid has made this journey three times now and knows nearly every pitfall but who knows what new dangers we face.
In maths this week we have been learning about money. Primary threes have been doing lots of adding and setting out sums in their maths jotter and what a good job they have made.
We wrote quite funny letters this weeks to imaginary people for imaginary gifts, they were very polite- even for the strangest things- toe nail clippers and pink tutus!
In handwriting we revised letters that sit on the line with their tails hanging down. Lets see if we can now use this in our other written work. Remember these
We look forward to a lot of fun learning over the next term!
